Serendipity Kombucha
Serendipity Kombucha is a brand that makes healthy and flavorful Kombucha beverages. The concept for the name of their brand is that once you take the first sip you will realize that this is the drink you didn't know you were looking for. It's like heaven in a bottle.
From start to finish of this project I wanted to incorporate the meaning behind the brand. The logo is designed with a delicate script font that pairs with a simple sans serif font. Then at the bottom there are drops of water. This resembles that you will fall in love with their Kombucha from the first sip to the last drop.
The packaging of the bottles shows rays of light coming from the logo with different fruits and vegetables peaking through the rays of light. It is as if a little bit of heaven is peaking through the rays in the sky.
Thumbnail Sketches
I started out this project by sketching out multiple concepts of the logo for the brand. After I sketched them out I narrowed it down to three of the ones I believed were the best.
Vector Sketches
After I narrowed down the logo concepts I brought them into Adobe Illustrator and created many variations of each logo concept. After I decided on the best one I played around with a few colors variations.
Island Fire
After deciding on the logo that I was going to use for the brand I went in and created two different Kombucha flavors. The first one is Island Fire (pineapple and cyan pepper). The design of the label focuses in on the logo and name of the brand then spurs out towards the fruit peaking out from behind the rays.
Green Goddess
The Green Goddess packaging is the same as the Island Fire design except the fruit and vegetables are different as well as the color. The colors of the label vary because of the ingredients inside the Kombucha.
Finished Bottle Packaging
To finish up the project before printing the labels I created a mockup of both labels to resemble what they will look like when they are printed. This helps to envision the final packaging.
