Channel Island Co.
Channel Island Co is a craft beer company based in Southern California. I used the SoCal feel of beaches to get the inspiration for this brand. The colors of sunsets and water are consistent throughout the brands identity. The logo consists of a wave while the packaging resembles a sunset and palm trees.
When thinking about the flavor of beer that I wanted to use for this specific packaging I did some research on Southern California which lead me to the citrus flavors. That's where Channel Island Craft Beer's Citrus Lager came to life.
Channel Island Co. Logo
This logo consists of a wave with the name of the company arched on top of the wave to resemble a sun. The brand colors are a light blue and a light orange. The blue to resemble water and orange to resemble the sun.
Small Label
This small label is placed on the neck of the bottle in between the cap and the main label. The logo, flavor of the beer, and important messaging are all present on this label.
Main Label
The main label shows a sunset and palm trees to give the feeling of laying on a Southern California beach. The brand colors are also present throughout the label.
Corrugate Dieline
To print off the packaging that the bottles would go in I had to use a dieline. This dieline consisted of cut, score, and artwork layers. The main panels of the packaging matched the bottles main label while the side panels were kept orange. Each side panel matched up in the center so that the logo's would go together perfectly.
Finished Bottle Packaging
To show what the bottles look like finished I used a Photoshop Mockup and placed the label on a beer bottle. This brings everything together and helps to envision what the final product will look like.
